WHAT TO WEAR

Simple, comfortable attire for confident movement.

Our studio has a simple, cohesive uniform for all ballet classes in black, pink and white. This helps create a calm learning environment and allows teachers to clearly observe posture and movement, while still keeping things comfortable and age‑appropriate.

🩰 Ballet Beginnings | Ages 2–5

Comfort and joy come first for our youngest dancers.

Recommended attire:

  • Pink, white or black ballet leotard or ballet dress

  • Optional soft ballet skirt or tutu

  • Pink ballet shoes or socks

  • Hair neatly secured away from the face

There is no need for a strict uniform at this stage — children are encouraged to wear ballet‑inspired clothing that allows them to move freely and feel confident.

🩰 Junior Ballet | Ages 6–9

As ballet becomes more structured, a simple uniform supports technique and confidence.

Required attire:

  • Ballet leotard in black, pink or white

  • Optional ballet skirt

  • Pink ballet tights (recommended)

  • Pink ballet shoes

  • Hair neatly secured in a bun or ponytail

Clothing should be comfortable yet fitted so teachers can support correct alignment and posture.

🩰 Youth Ballet | Ages 10–15

Older dancers are encouraged to wear traditional ballet attire to support technical development.

Required attire:

  • Ballet leotard in black (pink or white permitted where noted)

  • Ballet tights or fitted leggings

  • Pink ballet shoes

  • Hair secured neatly in a bun

Warm‑up layers such as wraps or fitted jumpers may be worn before class and removed once warm.
